Coffee, Trees & Burgundy

because you named me as your lover, i thought i could be anything
I just finished Animal Farm by George Orwell yesterday, first book on my summer reading list. It wasn’t bad, but it was kind of predictable (Orwellian, you know) and I found it to be too similar to 1984, which is indeed the better of the two books. Oh well, glad I read it, and know it will help me with all those literature courses down the road. I recommend it as an intro to Orwell, though. My intro was 1984 and although it is the better book, it’s a much more difficult one to get into and to grasp. Amazing though.
